It is important that you have easy access to advising services, and we invite you to e-mail, phone, or schedule an appointment with your advisor. It’s good to come prepared for your appointment, so check out what we offer in our services and how advisors and students can work together to achieve shared success. Listed below are several ways to connect with an academic advisor:
If you have several questions or concerns regarding your major, are thinking about changing your major, or are having any academic or non-academic concerns you should consider scheduling an appointment. Appointments are scheduled in half hour time blocks. Generally an advisor will review your degree audit, go over important policies and procedures, assist with course selection, and will discuss appropriate referrals to various campus resources. You should be prepared with questions. Appointments are usually scheduled with your assigned academic advisor through the online appointment system. Most advisors have scheduled appointments at various times during the day.
Students who have a specific question for their advisor can e-mail their assigned academic advisor. Click here to view your advisor's e-mail address. Generally students wanting to discuss several topics should schedule an appointment.
