 Beyond Nine Lives: Local Women Writers
This panel discussion features three local authors writing about New Orleans. Featured authors include Chris Wiltz, author of a number of mystery novels and The Last Madam: A Life in the New Orleans Underworld; Constance Adler, a magazine journalist who has written a memoir entitled My Bayou: New Orleans through the Eyes of a Lover; and Barb Johnson, whose debut short story collection, More of This World or Maybe Another, won numerous awards. The authors will discuss their work, their city, and what it means to write about women's lives in New Orleans. The panel will be moderated by Susan Larson, host of WWNO's The Reading Life and former book editor at the Times-Picayune.
