Even successful businesses can continue to struggle in areas they never imagined. Progress is made in one aspect of the organization, only to find It slipping in another. Sales team's goals have soared, only to find that employee morale has plummeted. A new marketing campaign is effective beyond the company's wildest dreams, only to reveal mistrust within the management team. Add to that, the owner has added his/her nephew to the management team and no one knows how to tell the owner that this person is a disruptive to operations.
Join us as Mr. Sherif A. Ebrahim discusses critical factors that affect all businesses, factors that are unique to family businesses, how to strike a balance, and which factors need to be leveraged in order to develop and implement a sustainable growth strategy and understand why it matters.
Mr. Ebrahim is President and CEO of Strategic Management Group and Managing Partner of SMG Capital, both nationally recognized private equity and health care firms based in New Orleans, LA. He is considered an expert in Corporate Strategy, Governance and Multi-Organizational Integration.
He has been nationally recognized for his work in strategic leadership by two U. S. Presidents, by the Secretary of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services, and twice by a Fortune 100 Company. He has also been appointed to professional leadership by two Louisiana Governors and has been named a White House Champion of Change for Entrepreneurship by the President of the United States.
Sherif is also an adjunct professor of Strategy and Innovation at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D. C., adjunct professor of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Tulane University's A. B.
