This exhibit covers the history and uses of all of the former on-campus stadiums through an array of archival holdings -- photographs, documents, artifacts, items used in former exhibits, newspapers and publicity ephemera. The displays also illustrate the diversity of campus and community activities staged within the athletic arenas throughout the years. A collection of short video clips loop through snippets of Tulane football games, Sugar Bowl action, Saints highlights and Super Bowls, all of which happened in the old Tulane Stadium. A booklet of Tulane stadium history also serves as a guide to the exhibit.
The exhibit runs from Oct. 30th through the end of the year. Hours: 9-5 M-F and 9-1 Sat.; closed on holidays and holiday weekends.
