Join us on the Newcomb Quad from 3 - 5 pm for a rousing game of Newcomb Ball! A hybrid of volleyball and dodgeball, Newcomb Ball was invented at Newcomb College in 1895 and is still played in some places in the US. All are welcome! You don't need to know how to play--we'll explain the rules! Sign up your team before the tournament by emailing LLedet2@tulane.edu or sign up Friday at the table on Newcomb Quad. The Newcomb Ball Tournament is sponsored by Newcomb Art Gallery in conjunction with their exhibition "More Than a Game: Sports and Identity at Newcomb and Tulane" and the Reily Student Recreation Center.
