The School of Architecture Fall lecture series features a wide range of prominent architecture professionals from across the country. The series is designed to present a variety of innovative approaches to the field of architecture and design. The School of Architecture is proud to partner with the AIA New Orleans to present the Fall 2012 Lecture Series. Our featured guest speaker on this date is Tracy Metz, Author and International Correspondent for Architectural Record. In her talk “Sweet & Salt: The Dutch and Water.” Ms. Metz will explore the Dutch example of architectural, landscape architectural and urban design tied to water strategies as well as propose viable approaches in dealing with the environmental, urban, and social challenges emerging from global climate and sea level change
