This session will examine the foundational components of publicly-engaged scholarship in the context of national trends in higher education. The session will examine the ways in which publicly-engaged scholarship is used to advance knowledge in the disciplines. The session will also provide participants an opportunity to share their experiences with and questions about publicly-engaged scholarship.
