The Tulane School of Social Work is very excited to announce that our annual December commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Dixon Hall on Tulane's Uptown Campus.
This graduation ceremony includes students earning a Master of Social Work, Master of Science from the Disaster Resilience Academy or a Ph.D. in Social Work. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. No tickets are needed for the event as seating is open and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis so students are encouraged to invited as many family and friends as they would like.
Following the graduation ceremony, the School will host a reception to celebrate our students' accomplishment with friends and family in the Ballroom on the second floor of the Lavin-Bernick Center. The celebratory reception will include cake and refreshments immediately following the ceremony. The social work ceremony is an open event, and seating is filled on a first come, first serve basis.
