The college also offers funding opportunities for student research, travel, internships, and other academic cocurricular activities. Students enrolled in the college pursue programs and degrees offered by the five undergraduate schools. Newcomb-Tulane College offices include Advising, Career Success, and Athletics Advising; the Center for Global Education (Study Abroad, OISS, ESL); Cocurricular Programs; the Dean's Office; First Year & Cohort Programs; the Honors Program; ROTC (Navy, Air Force, Army); Summer School; and the Teacher Preparation and Certification Program (TPCP).
As the academic home for all full-time undergraduates at Tulane, Newcomb-Tulane College educates its multifaceted student body through its commitment to academic breadth and depth, interdisciplinary exploration, engaged scholarship and research, and opportunities for service. By supporting the development of each student's intellect and creativity both within and beyond the classroom, the College prepares its students to be leaders and citizens who think and engage critically, imaginatively, and ethically with local, national, and global communities.
