TIDES PEER MENTORS & FALL WELCOME ORIENTATION COORDINATORS


TIDES Peer Mentors support first-year students in their transition to academic life at Tulane University by bringing peer leadership into TIDES classes. The TIDES Peer Mentor program is an academic leadership opportunity that engages upper-class students as mentors for first-year students in a class setting. Peer Mentors play a crucial role in helping first-year students transition to the academic community at Tulane University and support the Newcomb-Tulane College mission. Students selected to become TIDES Peer Mentors also serve as Fall Welcome Orientation Coordinators.
