Conference Coordinators (CCs)
Conference Coordinators are students that work full-time during conference season. They ensure that every guest and group has a positive experience while staying at Tulane. In addition to being on-call for our guests, Conference Coordinators prepare the residence halls and campus for each guest's arrival. They can provide signage when appropriate, help with large check-ins and check-outs, and prepare all meeting spaces on campus based on each group's needs. Students can apply for summer positions during the Spring semester.
Conference Service Assistants (CSAs)
Conference Service Assistants are students that work part-time during conference season. They are responsible for placing and removing all linens for guests that request them. Students can apply for summer positions during the Spring semester.
Conference Desk Service Coordinators (Conference DSCs)
Desk Service Coordinators are students that work part-time during conference season. They handle all desk operations for conference guests. These include check-in and check-out, reporting issues to the appropriate individual or department, providing guests and staff with necessary information, and providing exemplary customer service to all guests at all times. If guests ever have a question or concern during their stay, they call our Conference Desk Service Coordinators at the number provided, and our staff is expected to be able to handle the situation or direct the request or concern to the appropriate person. Students can apply for summer positions during the Spring semester.
Orientation Housing Coordinators (OHCs)
Orientation Housing Coordinators work closely with both the Orientation and University Conferences staff to ensure that all of Orientation's housing needs are met during the month of June. They will work a total of 10 hours during each of the 9 two-day orientation sessions, ranging from 15-25 hours per week, and receive housing for the entire summer as compensation. Regular duties include preparing for registration and departure, ensuring that rooms are prepared for orientation guests, check-in and check-out, collecting and auditing physical keys and access cards, and assisting the professional staff member assigned to June Orientations. Students can apply for summer positions during the Spring semester.
