Kate serves as an advocate and ambassador for CPS among parents, alumni and friends of Tulane. By connecting these constituents to priority Center initiatives, she facilitates gifts and is responsible for all fundraising activities. Prior to joining the Center for Public Service, Kate worked in nonprofits, including St. Bernard Project and A Shared Initiative, Inc. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism and German from the University of Missouri and has written for news outlets in Madison, Wis., London and Little Rock, Ark. After service in AmeriCorps NCCC and VISTA transformed her own career path, she is thrilled to be working to ensure that CPS has the resources it needs to continue to engage students, faculty and staff in service and address urgent and long-term social challenges and opportunities in New Orleans.
