Myriam oversees several programs, including the Public Service Internship, Public Service Petitions, Study Abroad/International Service, and Graduate Teaching Community-Engaged Fellowship Programs. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Gender & Sexuality Studies and Anthropology. She received her Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from Tulane and her B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. While she has lived, studied, and done research in France, Germany, and throughout the French- and English-speaking Caribbean, she calls New Orleans home and has a special commitment to the city. Outside of work, you might run into her second lining or enjoying local festivals.
