We would like to begin an after school program for students beginning in January 2010. Other needs include: resource assistance, programming, and fundraising.
Hagar's House offers a unique opportunity to connect students with the community, and provide experiential learning within an often misunderstood setting. Hagar's House is a beautiful home that takes on a non-traditional styles and attitudes towards housing and homelessness. Students will be impressed and engaged as they become a part of life at our home.

Mission statements

The mission of Hagar's House is to be a sanctuary for women and children in a state of crisis in New Orleans by providing an open and empowering residential community, resource coordination, and a safe space to transition into permanent housing.
