LPBF is looking for volunteers willing to participate on weekends giving out SAVE OUR COAST and SAVE OUR LAKE materials at fairs, festivals, and markets. (2-3 orientation sessions will be required)

Mission statements

As the public's independent voice, the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation is dedicated to restoring and preserving the water quality and habitats of the entire Lake Pontchartrain Basin. Through coordination of restoration activities, education, advocacy,monitoring of the regulatory process, and citizen action, LPBF works with all segments of the community to reclaim the Basin for this and future generations.

Founded in 1989, Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation using sound science has restored the bountiful resources of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin, succeeding in returning Lake Pontchartrain to good health, and now reaches out to SAVE OUR COAST!
