WATERBURY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
The Wellsford and Mildred Clark Medical Memorial Scholarship was established to provide scholarships for third year medical school students entering their fourth year of medical school. MINORITY MEDICAL STUDENT AWARD PROGRAM (MMSAP)
Who is eligible? Minority medical students from the United States or Canada who are enrolled in a DO, MD, or MD/PhD program.
The award consists of a $5,000 stipend; travel allowances to the American Society of Hematology (ASH) annual meeting; complimentary subscriptions to Blood, the official journal of ASH, and The Hematologist, ASH's newsletter.

PISACANO LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION
The Pisacano Scholars Leadership program is designed to provide educational programs, leadership training, and funding to reimburse a portion of medical-school-related debt. Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding medical students for a four-year period. Students who have made a commitment to the field of family medicine and who will enter their fourth year in medical school in the fall of 2015 may apply. The PLF will award scholarships with a maximum value of $28,000 each for the 2015-2016 academic year.

CEDARS-SINAI, 2015 NEUROSCIENCE STUDENT RESEARCH AWARD
The 2015 Pauletta and Denzel Washington Family Gifted Scholars in Neuroscience Award is available to medical students The selected awardee will be hired in a paid position for (1) year to conduct research in a Department of Neurosurgery laboratory. JOANNA F. REED MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship shall be awarded to students who reside in Alabama or Northwest Florida, and who attend, or have been accepted for entrance by, recognized private medical schools, wherever located, and who are pursuing a degree in medicine.The scholarships shall be for one academic year, and shall be in amounts determined by the Selection Committee based on the recipient's financial situation, relative costs of the private medical school, and the trust income available for distribution.
As the term is defined by the Joanna F. Reed Medical Scholarship Trust, "Northwest Florida" includes all counties in the state of Florida west of the Apalachicola River, more specifically: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes , Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun and Gulf counties.
