Networking: Women Making Waves - Tulane's Annual Women's Leadership Conference

Tulane University's Office of Alumni Relations hosts an annual women's leadership conference, Women Making Waves, each spring during Women's History Month. The goal of the program is to highlight the career successes of our alumnae to inspire and motivate women to seek leadership positions in the workplace and in their communities. The schedule includes a keynote speaker(s), panel discussions, and ample networking opportunities throughout the day.

Participants often comment on how accessible and open the speakers are in sharing their experiences and many connections have been made during the conference that have developed into friendships, mentoring relationships, and business referrals.

This year's theme is "Building Success Through Resilience".

EXPERIENCE AN INTERNSHIP SYMPOSIUM LIKE NO OTHER. NETWORK AND LEARN FROM MEMBERS OF THE U.S. OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC MOVEMENT AT THE COLORADO SPRINGS OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER! ABOUT THE PROGRAM Team USA is pleased to present the 5th Team USA Symposium; a workshop for those looking to break into the sports industry. Due to the success of the past four programs,we're excited to announce the 5th symposiumis now a four-day event! The agenda and overall experience is designed to help foster the next generation of leaders in the Olympic and Paralympic movements. Participants will be exposed to various aspects of Olympic and Paralympic sport, and learn from industry leaders through keynote speakers and panel discussions on various topics such as resumes, elevator pitches and networking. The forum will conclude with an opportunity to identify and network with representatives from the U.S. Olympic Committee, National Governing Bodies and other local organizations at the Team USA Career and Internship Fair.
