Note for Students

We are excited to see you on Saturday! We expect 1000+ students and over 40 panelists and speakers! Registration begins at McAlister Auditorium at 7:30am and our program will begin promptly at 8:00am with a welcome from President Fitts and our first keynote speaker. The day will consist of moderated panel discussions, several speakers, and will end with an opportunity for you to network with all panelists and speakers 1:1.

A few important notes for you to review:

  • BRING YOUR SPLASH CARD. You will check in at EVERY session throughout the day with your card. As we have mentioned previously, you are required to attend all sessions throughout the day.
  • You should review the AGENDA BELOW so that you can plan to attend each session you're interested in accordingly. Locations of sessions will be updated from now through Saturday, so check back to ensure nothing has changed as you head to each panel. You can also see all of our PANELISTS HERE.
  • Cancellations and No-Shows at this time are highly discouraged and will be noted. Our 40+ panelists are flying in at their own expense to speak with you. In return, we ask that you be professional in your attire, punctuality and attendance throughout the entire day's conference. If for any reason you are no longer able to attend, you are required to email bkantrow@tulane.edu with a valid reason for your cancellation.
  • You are on your own for lunch. After your last morning panel, which ends at 11:30am, you'll have 30-45 minutes to grab a bite to eat and then head directly to the 12:15pm keynote speaker in McAlister.
  • Download the Career Wave App! We have launched an app on Career Fair Plus so that you can view the agenda and panelists' bios on your smart phones, as well as take notes on those you want to speak with. You can download it here for iOS or Android users.
  • Attire for the conference is business casual. No jeans, no sneakers, no flip-flops. You should bring a pen and notebook, and a sweater or jacket on the chance the rooms you're in get chilly.
