Campus MovieFest

April 2017

This event was a chance for Tulane students to make a 5-minute movie in just one week. All equipment, support, and directions were given to the students, and the week concluded with a showcase of the top 16 films. The top 4 movies then moved on to a national event in Atlanta, Georgia to compete for amazing prizes worth up to $150,000.

Tulane to Hollywood was an incredible opportunity for students to hear from Tulane alumni and parents about what it takes to build a successful career in the entertainment industry. The panel included some of Entertainment's biggest names, including Doug Ellin, Creator and Executive Producer of "Entourage," Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming, Julie Yorn, a Producer at LBI Entertainment, Matt Rosengart, Partner at Greenberg Traurig, Rick Roskin, Co-Head of Contemporary Music at CAA, and Jack Sussman, Creator and EVP of Specials, Music and Live Events at CBS.

Executive Residence with David Moore B'87, Current Tulane Parent

The Executive in Residence program allows undergraduate students to meet and learn from a variety of executive mentors and leaders across a diverse range of professional industries. Industry leaders spend time with students one-on-one and in group settings, sharing their experiences and wisdom about the professional world. David Moore, of Midcap Financial, was the Executive in Residence for the past Spring Semester.

Tulane Takeover: NYC

October 14, 2016

Tulane Takeover is an all day conference in Manhattan that allows Tulane students to meet alumni, parents and professionals in all industries in New York. This event included over 200 professionals and 300 students, and some represented companies at the event included 20th Century Fox, EY, Time Inc., and ABC/Disney.

Executive Residence with Curtis Colden G'95, Tulane Alumnus

This event featured Adam Bryant, author of “Quick and Nimble; Lessons from Leading CEOs on How to Create a Culture of Innovation,” and “The Corner Office; Indispensable and Unexpected Lessons from CEOs on How to Lead and Succeed.” Bryant has also had many Editing positions at the New York Times. He shared some of his most valuable tips and wisdom from hundreds of CEOs to Tulane Students, including how to stay on your game during an interview.
