"The Professionals" is Tulane's medical information system. Using your touch-tone phone, you can tap into hundreds of topics, from Alzheimer's disease to weight loss, and you can speak to one of The Professionals if you need more information. We can even make an appointment for you with one of Tulane's physicians. The health information library gives you a direct line to health information that's quick, accurate and confidential. All from the convenience of your telephone.

1. Dial 1-800-988-5800 anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

2. To speak with a medical professional, dial the "*" (star) key

3. If you know the code number for the health topic you want to hear, press "1" and then enter the appropriate 4-digit number

4. If you need instructions, simply enter "1000" for directions

5. Directory booklets containing the code numbers are available from The Professionals (just press the star key)
