Newcomb Hall is the administrative center for the School of Liberal Arts. Also located within the building are the departments of Philosophy, Communications, Sociology, and all foreign languages, including a language laboratory on the fourth floor. The Junior Year Abroad program is over 40 years old and is one of the most prestigious programs in the country. Students have the opportunity to spend a year or a semester abroad in a total immersion program.
