Robert Arellano is Professor and Director of the Center for Emerging Media and Digital Arts at the University of Southern Oregon. He is the author of six novels, including Sunshine ’69, the first interactive novel published on the internet in 1996. He has also written extensively about contemporary Cuba, including novels, short stories, and essays.
Carlos Villacorta is a Peruvian writer and scholar. He is well know for his poetry books El grito (2001), Tríptico (2003) and Ciudad Satélite (2007),
and for his novel Alicia, esto es el capitalismo (2014) which portraits the ups and downs of life of young people from Lima and has received praise.
Some of his poems and short stories have been translated into English and French.
