   by Tulane's Department of Theater and Dance.
   This year's work features Undergraduate Dance
   Video and Choreography. The event is free and
   open to the public!

  A PERFORMANCE ART INSTALLATION


   CONCEIVED, CHROEOGRAPHED, AND PERFORMED 
   BY JARRELL HAMILTON
                

  Episodes: Watermelon Dreams, is a performance art installation
  that offers atypical depictions of black womanhood from African
  American ancestry to single motherhood. For the performance
  art installation, Antebellum, the main character, is seen floating
  for about three hours in a sea of watermelons, and occasionally
  sitting atop a vintage television showcasing images from and
  about her inner spirit.The performance art installation is part
  one of a two-part work. Episodes, Pt.2 is an original full-length
  dance/theatre work set to premiere at Tulane University in 
  January 2018.
