by Waggonner & Ball Architects in New Orleans, Goldring/Woldenberg
Hall II is a three- and part-four-story, 60,000 square foot
facility. Built at a cost of $25 million, the building features
a 130-seat lecture theater, four 65-seat case-method-style
MBA classrooms, seminar rooms, breakout rooms, student government
offices, and a state-of-the-art information systems laboratory.
The technological centerpiece of the new building, however,
is the Trading Center, a $1.5 million electronic trading room
equipped with sophisticated simulation, trading and financial
software including Kiodex, Crystal Ball and FEA. The Trading
Center serves the Freeman School’s acclaimed experiential
learning programs Burkenroad Reports and the Darwin Fenner
Student Managed Fund as well as acts as a hands-on laboratory
