2015-2016 Collat Media Internship Call For Proposals Announced

Looking for an on-campus internship where you can develop your digital media skills? Apply to be a Collat Media Intern for the 2015-2016 school year.

We are seeking digital media interns to support the creation of web and video content for two separate projects. Previous experience in web design or video production is not required for either project. However, the interns should be self motivated and interested in learning new things.

  • Project 1: The intern will work with a faculty mentor to create content relating to accessible design of classroom documents. This would include designing a basic informational website and creating how-to videos.
  • Project 2: The intern will work with faculty mentors to develop an interactive online exhibit that showcases the Women’s Literature Department from the 1884 New Orleans World’s Exposition. This would include researching similar sites and designing the look and feel of the website, as well as scanning images of the collection for the website.

Intern must be available to work 15 hours per week. To apply for either project, please send a resume and cover letter to Jaelle Scheuerman at
