Class Scheduling After Hurricane Isaac

The Registrar’s Office has conducted an assessment of the number of remaining T/Th and MWF classes in the Fall 2012 semester and determined that, from an institutional perspective, it will not be necessary to schedule additional make-up classes due to the disruptions caused by Hurricane Isaac.  If any faculty member feels that they need to schedule additional class time because of the subject matter of their course, s/he should contact the Registrar’s office directly to identify times and places for their individual make up classes.

Some of the professional schools – such as the A. B. Freeman School of Business or the Law School – may also have to schedule make-up class sessions to meet accreditation standards.  The Deans of the schools will direct these specific make-up strategies.

We encourage all faculty to communicate this information to their students. The Office of Academic Affairs is also available to answer any other queries.  Please contact Associate Provost Ana López for further assistance at
