The President’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching were established in 2000 and have been given to full-time faculty members who have a sustained and compelling record of excellence in teaching and learning and an ongoing commitment to educational excellence. The nomination process is open to all faculty and students in all academic units.
Faculty nominated for the awards must be permanent full-time faculty with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Nominations should include a completed Nomination Form, a letter outlining the candidate’s qualifications, and a copy of the nominee’s c.v. All nominations should be submirted via the following link:

NOTE: A precondition for any award nominee/recipient is that the faculty member MUST be present at
Nominations will be reviewed by the selection committee, which will select a group of finalists in each category.
Finalists will be contacted to submit teaching portfolios/dossiers via Interfolio. Please see Suggestions for Creating a Teaching Portfolio for a more detailed description. Detailed instructions on using Interfolio for this process will be sent to each finalist.
Requested dossiers must be submited no later than Friday, March 18, 2016. The committee will select the award winners in early April.
