Alumni and Student Government Association Speakers' Bureau

The SPHTM Alumni Association (SPHTMAA) and Student Government Association (SGA) have been collaborating on a Speakers' Bureau for the purpose of connecting students with alumni and public health professionals who have achieved in their field.

The concept is to utilize the expertise of alumni and friends who live in or visit New Orleans and may be a resource to students. We are seeking your help in identifying your interest in giving a presentation to students on a public health topic of your choice, your research, professional development, etc., while providing an informal networking opportunity. We would like for the topics addressed to complement department curriculum, and are notifying department chairs as speakers request to present.

Join the Bureau

The SPHTMAA and SGA will create a database of potential speakers and topics from which to draw, and select speakers will be invited to give a presentation. If you are interested in being a speaker, please complete the form and submit to Lacey Allen, development coordinator, via email at, who will add your name to our database of potential speakers and topics.
