Fellows will work under the leadership of CDC's Chief Evaluation Officer; they will be assigned to specific CDC host programs, developing and implementing program evaluations and studies for/with those programs. Fellows take on periodic small evaluation projects and assist with cross-agency evaluation efforts. Submit resume/CV by June 28,2013. Applicants that pass the initial screening will be asked to submit a 1000 word essay on interests, strengths, qualifications, information on up to three recent evaluation projects, contact information for 2 references, two letters of recommendation.

This fellowship program offers training in communication research and theory as well as opportunities to become involved in ongoing research. Fulbright-Fogarty U.S. scholar grants have been newly established to promote post-doctoral research in public health in resource-limited settings. Apply to participate in conducting current research at sites affiliated with the Fogarty International Center (FIC) of the U.S. National Institutes of Health. For 2013-2014, sites in seven countries -Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe - will host post-doctoral research scholars for nine-month grants, and sites in Peru will accept scholars for five months. Scholars who received their Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree within the past five years are eligible to apply.
