About SGA:

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as a focus for student concerns and activities through representing student views to the administration and faculty. Student involvement is encouraged and reflected in representation on special school committees, including Student Affairs/Student Services, General Faculty, and Curriculum committees.  The SGA President is a part of the Executive Faculty committee and an ex-officio member of the Tulane University Board of Governors.

SGA is governed by a constitution with officers elected annually. All students in the school are members of SGA.  Some SGA activities include the sale of school-related apparel, coordination of community support functions and sponsorship of social and professional development events. SGA has five senatorial seats in the university's Graduate and Professional Student Association (GAPSA), through which students can participate in all aspects of university-wide student government.
