Teens are approachable, friendly, and have manageable problems. Learn how to be an important facilitator of youth development. Varied sites, populations of teens, and styles of care are experienced in this four week rotation. Emphasis is placed on the broad range of medical concerns that may require a special approach with teens, as well as those psychosocial issues that influence the health of adolescents. A menu of learning experiences expands your horizons and expertise. A syllabus of reading materials is provided.
