Hematopathology — Image #29 — Dyserythropoiesis

Dysplastic changes in maturing erythroblasts include megaloblastic changes (as seen with B12 and folate deficiency), increased sideroblasts, nuclear lobulation, karyorrhexis, and chromatin bridging between two daughter cells. In the center of the image you can see two erythroid nuclei joined by a long, thin chromatin bridge.
