E*Value provides flash tutorials to give administrators an overview of basic functionality within the system. To view the tutorials below, click or ctrl+click the topic of interest (tutorial indicated by ). Tutorials have been broken down into the following categories: Biographic Data, Activities, Time Frames, Evaluations, Emails, and PxDx.

Adding Biographic Information – Individual user profiles are found within the Users section under the Biographic Data sub-menu. From this menu, you can add a new user or modify an existing user's information using the tabs available.
Creating People Groups – People Groups allow you to create groupings of users. Once created, these groups assist with various E*Value administration tasks, including reporting, scheduling and promoting users to their next training level.
Adding a New Activity - Activities are a key concept in E*Value – they represent anything that you may want users to evaluate or that require coursework or examinations.
Assigning Default Educators - The Default Educators tool can be used if an educator or groups of educators consistently teach the same activity. This tool allows you to assign the educator to the activity. That way, when a trainee is scheduled into the activity, the educator will automatically be assigned with them.
Creating Single Time Frames - When scheduling, you will be indicating that a user is participating in an activity during a particular period of time. That period of time is your Time Frame. A defined Time Frame will include a start date, end date, evaluation generation date and, if you are using the curriculum notification tool, a document generation date.
Making Evaluation Adjustments - Occasionally a user will complete an evaluation in error and wish to correct it, or an Administrator may wish to delete pending evaluations that are no longer applicable. The Adjustments tool can be used to delete pending evaluations, re-open completed evaluations, as well as to delete or re-open suspended evaluations for individual users.
Entering Evaluation Information on behalf of a User (limited to Administrators) – The Enter Eval Answers tool can be used to review and complete open evaluations for participants in your program.
Creating Question Groups - Question Groups are typically used to identify questions related to a specific topic – even when those questions appear on different evaluations. You may then filter by Question Group and Questions on various performance reports. This is useful, for example, for tracking evaluation questions related to your program’s core competencies.
Review and Release Evaluations - E*Value includes the ability to direct completed evaluations into a Review/Release queue before they are released to the reporting pool. This feature is often used as a tool to educate trainees on how to give appropriate feedback. It is also used by programs that have a requirement that their Program Director review all evaluations.
Sending Login and Password Info to Users - The Post Office tool in E*Value allows an Administrator to send emails to E*Value users for any reason. This tool can be used to email users their user login ID and password.
Sending Reminder Emails to Users with Pending Evaluations - The Reminders tool allows an administrator to send a customized email to ALL users who have pending evaluations, regardless of when the evaluation was assigned.
Managing Custom Email Text for Notifications and Reminders - The Custom EMail Text tool allows you to customize the text included in email messages sent to notify/remind your users of events in E*Value.
PxDx Summary - this tool can be used to review and modify the confirmation status of PxDx entries.
PxDx Procedure Administration - If you need to add additional procedures or edit existing procedures, you can do so by using the Procedure Administration tool. This tool can also be used to manage the evaluation, credentialing and confirmation methods required for procedures.
PxDx Diagnosis Administration - If you need to add additional diagnoses, you can do so with the Diagnosis Administration tool. You can also edit information for existing diagnosis using this tool.
