Tulane School of Medicine Faculty, Curriculum Committee Meetings:
The Sim Center holds Simulation Center Curriculum Committee meetings. Meetings are open to all Tulane University School of Medicine faculty members who are interested in integrating simulation into their classes, clerkships, residency programs or CME courses. All meetings are held at 8am in the Sim Center, the 2nd Thursday of each alternate month. The remaining months will have a meeting focus of Research and Publishing.
=> Head to our Faculty Meeting page for dates to upcoming meetings and to download past meeting Agendas, notes and handouts.
SimDATA, simulation center database
The Tulane Sim Center has created SimDATA, a FileMaker Pro database to track learner and faculty activity at the Sim Center. Any Tulane SOM faculty can request reports on student learning activity or their own teaching activity and evaluations.
Through interest from other institutions, Tulane University has seen potential use by others to not only track simulation education and training, but other types of healthcare training for the purpose of certification, accreditation and other regulatory purposes.
