The Tulane faculty in the School of Science and Engineering will host an outreach program starting this Fall called BATS for 5th to 7th grade boys to have positive experiences with male and female role models in STEM fields. We are organizing a Saturday event hosted by Tulane faculty and students on April 7th, 2018.

The event will begin at 8:00am with a sign-in and fun science activities led by Tulane undergrads. Participants will then get together in small groups and visit three different labs where they will do workshops in STEM fields led by Tulane faculty, post-docs and graduate students. We will provide lunch, snacks, and a t-shirt. The day will wrap up by 3:00pm.

We will soon be posting more information about the titles and topics of the workshops, but all of them are guaranteed to be great opportunities to work with men and women in science and engineering.
