All communication regarding room changes will be communicated via Tulane e-mail addresses.
All students moving must submit the form.
Students may NOT move until they have received approval from housing and it is their designated move time.
HRL will do its best accommodate requests. Please note that due to our very high occupancy this year not all types of space in all areas are available. Room changes are more ease to accommodate for students requesting a mutual swap or those that provide a broader range of options in which they would live.
Room Change Process
Submit a room change request form. The form will allow you to request a mutual swap with another person, or a general room swap to a new type of space
A member of the housing assignments team will contact you regarding next steps for you.
Once approved to move students will receive an e-mail offering them a space to move to that meets the criteria they submitted. Students will have 48 hours to accept the space offered to them
Students that decline the space offered will not be offered another space until all other outstanding room change requests have been processed
Students who accept their offer will receive a move letter outlining their move procedures. Students will have 48 hours from receiving that e-mail to complete their move
Students will need to follow the move instructions in their letter. Failure to do so could result in improper check out charges
Students that request a type of space that cannot be fulfilled during fall semester will be able to submit a new room change request for Spring semester.
