  • Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) Internship Grant for Broadcast
    AAJA is awarding a grant of $1,500 to a student participating in a broadcast internship. The stipend will be used to defray the cost of living expenses, pay for transportation or supplement low-paying or unpaid internships at a broadcasting company. This internship grant is intended to support the intern and give him or her an opportunity to practice daily journalism and network with professionals while gaining valuable career-building experience.   • Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP)
    The 4A's Multicultural Advertising Intern Program has helped jumpstart the careers of more than 2,100 African-American, Asian-American, Latino-American, Native-American, multiracial and multicultural aspiring advertising professionals. Each year, undergraduate and graduate students are selected for a 10-week paid summer internship at a 4A's member advertising agency. Interns gain practical work experience, establish key industry contacts, and perhaps most importantly, become better prepared to land a full-time job in advertising when they graduate from the program.   • Public Policy & International Affairs Fellowship Program (PPIA)
    The PPIA Fellowship Program prepares students, primarily from underrepresented communities, for careers and influential roles that serve the public good. The Fellowship Program offers an intensive summer institute to train students in public policy work and then offers to pay for graduate school should a student be admitted. Scholarship Details: All expenses-paid summer institute (JSI) after junior year in college, internship opportunities and a minimum of $5,000 towards a master’s degree in public policy, public administration or international affairs.
