Mike Griffith, Technology Services' Faculty Technology Coordinator and Adjunct Professor, has earned his Ph.D. in English with a focus on Modern Literature and and Cultural Studies.
Griffith's dissertation, Visualizing Virtual Space in Modern and Postmodern Literature, explores the nature of the virtual as it relates to Henri Lefebvre’s conception of spatial practice in literature and culture. The dissertation spends a good deal of time accounting for the role that fabricated objects from devices like 3D printers will change the cultural relationship between producer and consumer.
Our warmest congratulations go out to you for this accomplishment, Dr. Griffith. Well done!
