16. Reconsider the forms of the ACC, GEN, PREP.
For Wednesday and Friday, contemplate my dative paradigms
in my 6.1 remarks. Consider the ACC, GEN, and PREP forms in the light of
appendices B, C, D and E. Remember that we have not studied the instrumental
case yet, nor the plural GEN, PREP, or DAT.
Appendix A summarizes the meanings of these cases. See
pp. 340ff in the textbook.
Make your own sample paradigms comparing the cases, with
noun phrases, e.g:
|
Masc |
Fem |
NOM |
мой
хороший
друг |
моя
большая
комната |
GEN |
моего
хорошего

DAT |

ACC |

PREP |

о моей
хорошей
комнате |
я люблю
моего мужа.
я люблю
мой
университет.
Produce diagrams of your own devising for various parts
of speech, e.g. этот, personal pronouns я,
ты, он, она, мы,
вы, они. Review the rules governing spelling of
velars and hushers (app. B). What order do you prefer listing the cases, and
why?
For Wednesday, December 3 and Friday, December 5. Prep
for final. Bring to class any questions you may have. Please write workbook M,
N, O in 6.21.
