Chloe Griffin successfully defended her PhD thesis
This May, Chloe Griffin, a PhD student at the University of Liverpool and TSDS member successfully defended her thesis titled: The nature
of autogenic processes and the propagation of environmental signals in sediment transport systems. This thesis used data from physical, as
well as numerical, rice piles to explore signal propagation across sediment routing systems. The physical experiments were carried out in
Tulane's Sediment Dynamics and Stratigraphy Lab. Chloe was co-advised by Kyle Straub and Rob Duller (Liverpool). Congrats Chloe!
