What are the different health plans offered?
Tulane University health plans offer the same coverage. You decide if you want to pay more in premiums up-front or through higher deductibles and co-insurance. Available health plans are Low, Middle, or High through United Healthcare. To read about the different plans click here.
When are time sheets due for payroll?
Monthly time sheets are due the 5th working day of the following month. (Monthly Non-Exempt Time sheets) (Monthly Exempt Time sheets). Biweekly Time sheets are due by noon every other Friday unless a holiday is scheduled at which time there will be advance notification.
What is the Tuition Waiver Program?
All full-time employees who have completed the introductory period are eligible for tuition waiver at the University. (More Information | Forms: Employee or Dependent). Staff dependents may participate after the employee has completed three years of full-time employment. Graduate-level tuition waiver for University employees can be provided on a tax-free basis up to $5,250 annually. The value of your tuition waiver in excess of $5,250 is taxable income and will be reported on your W-2.
