Years at Tulane:
Since January 2003

I am currently providing mental health consultation to child care centers as part of the implementation of a statewide quality rating system for child care centers. I assist child care centers in designing the optimal environment for young children to develop socially and emotionally, assist center caregivers in determining when referrals to outside professionals should be made, and help child care centers stay connected with the parents of the children they serve. Through mental health consultation I work with child care center directors, children's daily caregivers, and parents. My research interests involve the examining: the implementation of mental health consultation in child care centers; maltreated young children; clinical interventions; and identity development in adolescents.
