The Faculty at Tulane University number over one thousand strong. We say "strong" because our Faculty has helped lead Tulane to national accolades: one of Newsweek's nine "hot schools" as well as ranking within the top 50 national universities according to U.S. News and World Report. Tulane Faculty are on the "front lines" of the University's mission by "cultivating an environment that focuses on learning and the generation of new knowledge."

  • Benefits are effective on your date of hire for eligible Faculty members, but you must enroll within 30 days of hire to receive the benefits.
  • Student and Staff cannot work until hired through Human Resources, according to Federal guidelines. If an employee works before completing required hiring process, the University is subject to fines.
  • Hiring managers will receive a notification when the hiring process is completed.

All Faculty and Staff are encouraged to support the Tulane Fund, the largest source of current operating funds directly supporting the academic mission of the University. Gifts may be designated to support any school or program, or to provide general university support. Your gift makes a difference right away – every day.  It doesn't matter how you give, or how much you give – it’s your participation that counts!

Make a gift online using the Secure Online Giving Form, or establish a payroll deduction by downloading the payroll deduction form and faxing to the attention of Gift Accounting, Office of Development at (504) 247-1382.
