Chong (Carol) Chen
Chong (Carol) Chen received her BSc in Biomedical Engineering at Capital University of Medical Science, Beijing, China. In 2004, she received her MSc in Clinical Engineering at University of Liverpool, UK. She enrolled Medical Physics graduate program and work as a research assistant in East Carolina University, NC in 2006. Since 2009, she joined in Biomedical Engineering Department at Tulane University to work on her Doctoral degree. Her research mainly focused on the in vitro studies of leukocytes and tumor cells interactions with vascular endothelium. The other focus of her study is cavitation effects on tumor ablation with High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU).
During leisure time, Carol likes to read, paint and do some exercises.
