Yuan (Susan) Teng

My name is Yuan Teng. I am from Guangxi, China. You may also call me Susan, it is my English name. I am a new graduate student in the Cellular Biomechanics and Biotransport Lab with the interdisciplinary major of Math & BME. My research is to determine the rheological properties of human blood cells based on the method of multiple-particle-tracking microrheology. This inlcudes both experimental and numerical modeling studies. I came to the US with my husband in 2008. Outside research, cooking foods is one of my major interests. Just like creating arts, it requires imagination and creativity. When I create new recipes, I usually put them on my webpage and share with others. I also like swimming and playing badminton. After I came to this country, I start to love watching football games. WHO DAT SAINTS!
