Uchenna C. Onwuegbusi
I am from Eastern part of Nigeria in West Africa. I started my college education at Xavier University in the 3+2 Physics/Engineering program. I am currently a senior at
Tulane University where I am completing the last two years of my dual degree program for Physics and Biomedical Engineering. I hope to go to medical school after my
undergraduate studies. Presently, my research focus in Dr. Khismatullin's lab is to culture large multi-cellular aggregates of breast tumor cells in the form of
tumor spheroids. We anticipate that these spheroids will be used for in vitro studies of PEI-HIFU ablation therapy as a potential breast cancer treatment.
During my spare time, I love singing, dancing, reading novels, writing songs and short stories, chatting with my friends and my family back home and cooking.
