PHYSICAL GEOLOGY LAB
MATERIALS REQUIRED

• Text Book: Laboratory Manual in Physical Geology by The American Geological Institute (AGI) and the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT); Richard M. Busch, Editor; 7th Edition, 2006.  Available at the Tulane Bookstore.     Note:  Second hand (used) Lab Manuals are NOT acceptable. It is NOT recommended that you buy lab manuals on line even if they claim to be “new” or “like new” as they might have missing pages.
• Lab Kit (Hand Lens, Streak and Glass Plates). Available at the Geology Department's Office [DINW 120] for $10.00. Office hours: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
• Pencils and eraser
• Colored pencils or markers (at least black, blue, red, brown, and green)
• Ruler (at least 6 inches long with inches and centimeters)
• Calculator (one that adds, subtract, multiplies and divides)
• E-Mail account
