Prior to admission to the Musical Theater Program, students must
audition for Professor Howard. The musical theatre major is an interdisciplinary program consisting of the following courses:

- MUSC 152: Advanced Harmony [3]
- MUSC 332: History of American Musical Theatre [3]
- MUSC 245: History of Opera [3]
Students perform junior (30 minute) and senior (60 minute) recitals.

Dance Courses [10 credits]
