| The Affordable Housing Management Program is operating to provide low-cost
housing in New Orleans to those unable to pay current housing market rates. SAFER will identify
property owners who are willing to introduce their homes into the
market at affordable rates. We will work with the property owners to complete
their rebuilding at minimal cost to them. The properties rehabilitated in this
program may also be available as temporary housing facilities for families who
need to be closer to their homes while in the rebuilding process.
