| Laine, a Tulane junior and native of Newfield, New Hampshire was only on campus 12 hours of her freshman year before being whisked away as a hurricane evacuee.
Despite having very little experience in New Orleans, Laine was determined to come back to help the city recover and quickly joined up with
SAFER upon her return. Her current responsibilities, which are also in addition to her duties as a full-time student and mother to rescued flood-pup
Rosie Barb, include supervising the work sites, maintaining the flow of materials and labor, and establishing relationships with sub-contractors to provide skilled labor referrals to our families.
Laine enjoys heavy lifting, bad dance movies, and playing with joint compound. She does not enjoy being called
Elaine.
